JOBS FOR COLOR BLINDNESS B.TECH STUDENTS IN INDIA

Hi friends!
I know how you might have felt when you come to know that you are suffering with color blindness. The main thing is that there is no cure for this disease. Actually color blindness people can recognize colors but only in one or two colors they feel difficulty in recognising. This thing can be identified if you check yourself by Isihara chart. After knowing this thing your friends and relatives might be showing you some objects and may be asking you what is the color of this object. Specially the persons who might be preparing for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) except Computer Science will face difficulty. Still there are some posts in some PSUs where they accept color blindness persons.
Now ONGC is the only PSU in technical sector which accepts color blindness persons only for the post of Material Management Officer(MMO). But one demerit is there that here all engineering branches are eligible for this post.  So automatically competition will increase. Every year ONGC releases only 20-40 posts for MMO.

In Engineering Services Exam(ESE/IES) there are some posts where color blindness persons are accepted. Those posts are in Indian Railway Store Service and Indian Skill Development Services.

Some persons are there those who are preparing neither for GATE nor for ESE. Those  persons might be preparing for SSC JE or RRB JE.  In RRB JE some posts are there where color blindness persons are allowed. These kind of aspirants should have B2 or C1 category ( Indian Railways physical fitness category). These posts are Design and Estimation, in Gorakhpur zone R&D post and Depot Material Superintendent etc. Actually you are eligible for all posts where only B2 or C1 category is needed.

If a Technical Graduate is not preparing for Technical jobs then he/she is eligible for all kind of jobs. He is eligible for bank jobs, SSC CGL and Civil Service exams except IPS etc.  In my another blog I'll tell there are some hospitals or doctors are there who can cure color blindness. I'm not sure! But I'll try to tell you in detail.
